Terms and conditions

A clear agreement for care.

These terms explain what Find Yourself Again offers, what you can expect, what we need from you, and the boundaries that help online counselling remain safe and workable.

Good care needs clear boundaries too.
Please read this before booking.

By using this website, booking a consultation, making a payment, submitting a form, or attending a session, you agree to the terms that apply to that service.

01 The starting point

Who these terms apply to

Find Yourself Again provides online counselling and related mental health education for adults. The current service is intended for people aged 18 years and above.

These terms apply to your use of this website and to services arranged through it. They apply whether you reach us through the website, a booking page, a form, email, messaging, or another agreed online route.

WebsiteThe Find Yourself Again website and its pages, forms and online tools.
ServicesOnline counselling, consultations and related educational resources offered through Find Yourself Again.
ClientThe adult who books, receives, or communicates about a counselling service.
TherapistThe qualified professional providing the agreed counselling service.
02 What we provide

What counselling with us means

Find Yourself Again offers a professional space to explore emotions, relationships, patterns, decisions, stress, anxiety, life transitions and other concerns that may benefit from counselling.

Counselling is a collaborative process. It is not a promise of a particular outcome, diagnosis, cure, relationship result, academic result, employment result, legal result, or other specific life outcome.

The therapist may suggest reflection, coping strategies, psychological education, exercises, referrals, or other steps that are considered appropriate. You remain responsible for decisions you make outside the session.

Important: The service does not replace medical care, psychiatric care, emergency care, legal advice, financial advice, or other specialist services when those are needed.

03 The counselling relationship

What you can expect from the work

The counselling relationship is professional and exists for the purpose of providing the agreed service. It is not a friendship, romantic relationship, business partnership, or personal social relationship.

You are encouraged to tell the therapist if something feels uncomfortable, unclear, ineffective, or outside what you want from the work. The therapist may also recommend a different professional or service when that would better meet your needs.

You understand that counselling can involve difficult emotions and that progress may not be linear. You are not required to disclose anything you do not feel ready to discuss, subject to information that may be necessary for immediate safety.

04 Safety first

This is not an emergency service.

Find Yourself Again is not designed to provide continuous crisis monitoring or emergency intervention. The website, booking form, email, payment process and counselling sessions should not be treated as a substitute for urgent emergency services.

If you are in immediate danger or may act on thoughts of suicide or serious self harm, seek urgent help now.

In India, you can contact Tele MANAS on 14416 or 1800 89 14416, contact local emergency services, or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a scheduled online appointment.

Where there is a serious and immediate concern about your safety or another person’s safety, the therapist may need to take reasonable steps to protect life or safety. This can include sharing only information that is necessary with an appropriate person, professional, service, or authority where permitted or required by applicable law.

05 Booking and payment

Booking, fees and payment

The consultation fee, session duration, available formats, and payment instructions are shown during the booking process or communicated before the service is confirmed.

The current standard consultation fee displayed on the website is ₹500 unless a different fee is clearly stated for a particular service.

A booking is not confirmed merely because a person has opened the booking page or selected a time. Confirmation depends on successful completion of the booking and payment process used by Find Yourself Again.

Payment information must be accurate. You must not submit another person’s payment credentials, private banking information, passwords, one time passwords, UPI PINs, card PINs, or other authentication secrets through the website or counselling forms.

Where a payment screenshot is requested, it is used to help reconcile the payment and booking. A screenshot by itself is not a guarantee that payment has been verified.

Any cancellation, rescheduling, refund, or no show terms specifically displayed at the time of booking will form part of the booking arrangement. If no separate term is displayed, contact Find Yourself Again before assuming that a refund or rescheduling option is available.

06 Showing up

Attendance and communication

Please join at the agreed time and use the contact details provided during booking. If you are late, the session may still need to end at the originally scheduled time so that professional boundaries and later appointments can be respected.

If you cannot attend, please contact the service as early as possible. Repeated missed sessions, repeated late cancellations, or persistent difficulty maintaining agreed communication may lead to a review of whether the service remains appropriate.

Messages sent outside an agreed session or communication window may not receive an immediate response. Do not use ordinary messages or email to seek emergency intervention.

07 Online care

Online sessions have limits

Online counselling depends on technology, internet connectivity, device availability, privacy, and the platform being used. Technical interruption can occur despite reasonable precautions.

You are responsible for joining from a reasonably private place and using a device and connection that you can control. Please avoid recording, photographing, screen capturing, or allowing another person to listen to a session unless this has been discussed and agreed in advance.

The therapist may pause or end an online session if the environment becomes unsafe, privacy is compromised, there is a serious technology problem, or the format is no longer clinically appropriate.

08 Confidentiality

Your privacy matters, with important limits.

Information shared during counselling is treated as confidential and handled with care, subject to applicable law and professional obligations.

Confidentiality is not an absolute promise. Information may need to be disclosed where required or permitted by law, where necessary to protect a person from serious harm, where another professional needs information to provide appropriate care, or in other circumstances recognised by applicable law and professional requirements.

Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose should be shared where a disclosure is required for safety or lawful compliance.

The separate Privacy Policy explains how personal information collected through the website, forms, payment process, booking process and related services is handled.

09 Records and information

Records are part of responsible care.

Reasonable records may be created and retained to support continuity of care, professional accountability, administration, billing, safety, legal compliance, and other legitimate purposes connected with the service.

You may be asked to provide accurate information. Withholding information that is important to immediate safety can affect the therapist’s ability to assess and respond appropriately.

Requests concerning access, correction, privacy, or personal information are handled under the applicable privacy framework and the separate Privacy Policy.

10 Professional boundaries

Clear boundaries protect both sides.

The therapist may decline requests that fall outside professional competence, ethical practice, the agreed service, or reasonable safety limits.

Find Yourself Again does not provide guarantees about reconciliation, relationships, family outcomes, academic performance, employment, legal outcomes, or any other external result.

The service does not provide prescriptions or replace a psychiatrist or medical practitioner. Where another form of assessment or treatment is indicated, referral to an appropriate professional may be recommended.

Clients must not use counselling to threaten, harass, impersonate, manipulate, record without agreement, obtain confidential information about another person, or deliberately interfere with the professional’s work or safety.

11 The website itself

Educational content is not personal treatment.

Articles, mood tools, FAQs, guides, social content, worksheets, and other information published by Find Yourself Again are provided for general educational purposes. They are not a diagnosis or an individual clinical assessment.

Psychology information can be useful for recognising experiences, but reading an article or completing a self report tool does not create a therapist client relationship.

You should not make an important medical, medication, safety, legal, financial, or other high consequence decision solely from general website content.

12 Reasonable limits

What we can and cannot promise

Reasonable care is taken to keep the website, booking information, forms and service information accurate and available. However, no website or online service can promise uninterrupted availability, perfect security, error free technology, or a particular counselling outcome.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Find Yourself Again is not responsible for loss caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including third party platform failures, internet outages, device problems, unauthorised access despite reasonable security measures, or information supplied inaccurately by a client.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, responsibility, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13 Ending the service

Counselling can end for different reasons.

You may choose to stop counselling. The therapist may also recommend ending, pausing, or transferring care where the service is no longer appropriate, the therapeutic relationship is not workable, safety cannot be adequately managed in the current format, professional boundaries are repeatedly breached, or another service would better meet your needs.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, the therapist may discuss next steps or referral options rather than ending care without direction.

14 Legal framework

Applicable law

These terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable in India, subject to mandatory rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any dispute should first be raised directly with Find Yourself Again so that a reasonable attempt can be made to resolve it. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be dealt with through the appropriate legal forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

15 Keeping this agreement current

These terms may change.

Find Yourself Again may update these terms when the service, technology, legal requirements, professional standards, payment arrangements, or website changes.

The version published on this page is the version that applies from its stated effective date, subject to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonably appropriate way where required.
