For Clients Booking Online Therapy Services with Find Yourself Again
Last updated: 22nd June 2025

Before you book a session, please take a moment to understand how our process works. These terms are here to set healthy boundaries – for both of us.
1. Who Can Book
Therapy is available for anyone 14 years and older.
If you are under 18, parental consent may be required.
Therapy is currently offered online only.
2. How Booking & Payments Work
- Sessions must be booked in advance – no walk-ins are available
- All payments must be made before the session begins
- You’ll receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message after booking
3. Cancelling or Rescheduling
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may result in being charged the full session fee.
Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis, at the therapist’s discretion.
4. Confidentiality (And When It’s Broken)
Everything discussed in therapy is private – always.
Everything you say in therapy is confidential, with 3 legal exceptions:
- Risk of serious harm to self or others
- Disclosure of abuse involving children, elders, or vulnerable adults
- Court-mandated disclosures via subpoena or legal order
The therapist may also consult with licensed supervisors to improve care, while keeping your identity private.
These are rare situations, but important to be aware of.
5. Session Format & Client Responsibilities
You can choose from:
- Video call
- Audio call
- Chat-based therapy
- It is your responsibility to:
- Have a stable internet connection
- Be in a quiet, private and safe space during the session.
- Arrive on time for your appointment
Sessions delayed by the client may still end at the scheduled time.
6. Therapist’s Right to Refuse or Discontinue Services
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse therapy services to individuals behaving abusively, dishonestly, or disruptively
- Terminate the therapeutic relationship if sessions are misused, boundaries are violated, or progress is unsafe
No abuse or harassment – verbal, written, or digital – will be tolerated.
7. This is Not Emergency Support
We do not provide 24/7 crisis support.
If you’re in immediate danger or feeling unsafe, please contact:
- A local emergency service
- A suicide prevention helpline
- Or someone close to you who can help in real time
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site – including therapy tools, worksheets, and blog posts – is the intellectual property of Find Yourself Again and may not be copied, reposted, or reused without written permission.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If you continue to use the website or book sessions after changes, it means you agree to the updated version.
10. If We Ever Disagree
If there’s ever a misunderstanding or concern about sessions, services, or communication, I encourage you to reach out directly so we can talk it through calmly. I’m here to help, not to argue.
This space is built on trust, and I’ll always do my best to work things out with honesty and care.
11. Therapist Cancellations & Emergencies
While I do my best to maintain consistency and reliability, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes arise on my end as well.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will notify you as early as possible, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
You will not be charged for any session that I cancel.
In rare cases of emergency, the session may need to be rescheduled on short notice. Emergencies may include, but are not limited to:
- Sudden illness
- Family or personal emergencies
- Power outages
- Internet disruptions or technical failures beyond my control
I appreciate your understanding, and in such cases, I will make every effort to reschedule your session promptly at a time that works for you.
